SECTION - A

 

1. Describe the composition of the Constituent Assembly of free India as on 31st December, 1947. 2

22. How has globalization adversely affected India? Explain any five negative consequences. 5×1=5

23. What is meant by binding sanctions? Write any two examples of non-military sanctions of the UN Security Council. Why and which sanctions were imposed on South Africa in 1977? What were the final results? 2+2+2+2=8

Write the full form of UNCTAD. Why was it formed? Describe any three ways in which it served the developing countries. 1+1+6=8
