restrictions when planning your meals.

Nutritional Requirements: Another important factor to consider while
planning meals is your nutritional requirements. These needs may vary depending
on factors such as age, gender and activity level. It is important to ensure
that your food provides all the essential nutrients for optimal health.
(iii) Lack of
time: Time is a valuable resource when it comes to meal planning. Due to
busy schedules, it may be difficult to prepare food fresh every day. Planning

(iv) Avoid
plastic: Avoid use of plastic.
14. Write any four reasons for communicable diseases. 2
Ans:- There are four reasons of communicable diseases:-
(i) Physical
touch with a person carrying the pathogen.
(ii) Interaction
with body fluids containing the pathogen.
(iii) Catching
the pathogen through someone else's cough or sneeze and inhaling their
droplets.
(iv) Obtaining
information about the bite of an animal or insect carrying the pathogen.
15. Your mother washes clothes in a machine after a week.
On what four bases should she sort clothes before laundering them? 2
Ans:- Four grounds are given for sorting clothes before
washing them:-
(i) Read the
label: If you're very familiar with your regular laundry, you probably
don't need to do this step every time. But if you are teaching a child to wash
clothes then this is a very important step.
(ii) Sort by
colour: Once hand washing and dry cleaning only clothes are separated, sort
the remaining washable clothes by colour. White, pastel, light gray and white
background prints will go in the same pile. Dark clothes – black, red, navy,
brown, dark gray – go in the second pile.
(iii) Sort
according to clothes: Sort each pile once again according to the type of
clothes. For example, in a white/ light - colored pile, separate towels and
sheets from blouses, slacks, and underwear or lingerie.
(iv) Wash
heavily soiled items separately: If you have heavily soiled items that have
dirt or oily stains on them such as a lot of motor oil or cooking oil stains,
sort them as usual, but wash these items Wash separately. This will prevent
heavy soil from re-depositing on other clothes. This will also prevent the
strong smell from spreading to other clothes.
